To increase knowledge of the technique of using paradoxes in writing.
Course content
Paradox can be seen as ''truth standing on its head to get attention.'' This provocative quote has been coined and embodied by the early 20th century prolific writer G. K. Chesterton. Chesterton had the rare ability to find a way to express several of his claims and beliefs using paradoxical statements and ideas. Consequently, he became know as ''the prince of paradox''. In this course, we will  discover, critically analyse and collect some of the paradoxes found in his writings.
