During the course, students are first introduced to the theoretical features of comparison. Later this knowledge will enable them to carry out examinations across the literatures of different eras or across literature and other arts, or even across the culture and literature of different nations

Assessment method
Evaluation and requirements: delivering two 20 minutes long presentation, on two different topics of your choosing, with permisson of the lecturer (15%). Participation in class (15%). Final-oral exam (70%). Presentation: The presentations should be 20-25 minutes long. Deliver a presentation on a topic of their choosing, with the lecturer’s approval. We will have one presentation on every class. Avoid generalization or summary the plot of the literary work during your interpretartions. You can use any tools or no tools to make your presentations, however it is a requirement to compose a shareable handout or slide show as an outline of your presentation. Building intercultural teams is important if you are cooperating with someone, so please choose a partner from a different country, if it possible
