- Learning outcomes
- The main aim of the course is to familiarize students with the functional anatomy of the main organ systems of the human body. Learning outcomes and competences: Knowledge: Students have a comprehensive knowledge of the functional anatomy of the main human organ systems. Skills: Students are able to recognise anatomical illustrations of the human organ systems and to name these structures in Hungarian as well as in Latin. Attitude: Students strive to understand the pathophysiological background of disabilities, injuries and special needs and to know the anatomical structures affected in these pathophysiological processes. Autonomy and responsibility: Students are committed to learning and perform learning-related tasks independently. Students take responsibility for their own learning, development, and achievement.
- Course content
- Histology Skeletal system. Muscular system Cardiovascular, lymphatic and immune system Respiratory system. Digestive system. Excretory system. Reproductive system. Integumentary system. Endocrine system. The neuron. Overview of the nervous system. Anatomy of the spinal cord and its role in motor control. Cerebral centers of motor control. Somatosensory system. Visual system. Auditory and vestibular system. Cranial nerves and spinal nerves. Autonomous nervous system. Neuroanatomical imaging methods.
- Assessment method
- The course concludes with colloquium, a written test exam, which includes multiple-choice questions, brief essay questions, and image recognition questions. For a successful exam, a result of at least 50% is required.
