Oktatás célja
The main of the course is to acquaint the students with the basic laws and characteristics of the pedagogical-didactic educational theory and its modern approach. One of the course’s results is that the students see the pedagogical-didactic and educational theory knowledge and understands how they serve modern pedagogical work in early childhood, school age and adulthood. In this way, the students are also able to reflect on their own emerging pedagogical role and attitudes. As a prospective special education teacher, the students gain independent experience by completing the course in such a way that they process the freely chosen topic and problems related to the pedagogy of infancy, school age and adulthood by exploring the operation of the chosen educational institution in practice.

Main content and topics: Relationships between education and society, the most important trends and theories of sociology of education, inequalities in school and society, hidden curriculum Methods and strategies of education: the concept, grouping, characteristics of the educational strategy, the concept of the teaching methods. Ways of organizing education: interpretation of the way of organizing of the teaching form; frontal, individual, pair and teamwork; factors of the teaching. Organizational frameworks and forms of education: the class as a social medium for learning; the teaching lesson, alternative organizational frameworks and forms. Basics methods and main aspects of adult education Concepts and processes of the early childhood education Concepts and processes of the primary school education
Számonkérés és értékelés
The course concludes with practical evaluation and written exam. Percentage rating of the total result achieved: 0-49% insufficient, 50-59% sufficient, 60-69% medium, 70-84% good, 85-100% outstanding.
