Oktatás célja

The student will gain experience on the principles and methodology of art-based pedagogical procedures and gain insight into the related pedagogical, special pedagogical adaptation and intervention possibilities. The student will meet the artistic intervention methods that are applicable in the fields of development, education, integration and inclusion. The course establishes the recognition of the importance of reflective thinking and mental health support in the student's studies and professional development.

Tantárgy tartalma

Insight for the whole class during the first/second semester. Special education skills development using art-based methods along visual, music, applied drama, theatre and body consciousness modalities. Topics: Art facilitation, art pedagogy, art therapy - basic concepts. The purpose of art pedagogy, its past, traditions, trends, outstanding representatives. Forms and possibilities of framing (pedagogical, therapeutic, other). communication (verbal and nonverbal) creative process, creativity attention, memory self-knowledge, self-reflection group, community activity, cooperation sociability boundaries, safety and protective space possibilities of special education applications and competence boundaries In the field of artistic intervention methods, the students have the opportunity to gain their own experience in relation to the theoretical and methodological knowledge of the course. The course emphasizes the shaping of the students’ problem-solving skills. At the centre of the course is the promotion of the creative process and the development of creativity through free, improvisational experimentation in a safe, supportive environment. The course features art as a tool and method in the fields of self-knowledge, relationship and community building work, skill development and acquisition.
