Oktatás célja
During the course, students will gain knowledge about the equality area of human resource management activities and main issues. The course will provide an overview of the following topics in connection with   persons with special needs, reduced capacity to work and disadvantaged: job creation, job requirements and labour benefits, performance evaluation, conflict management, human resource development and instructional design. At the end of the course the students will be able to interpret the professional literature on equity, equality, fairness; to identify main issues in policy papers and EU’s strategies. Practical exercises will help students to critically interpret and evaluate the policy steps taken for creating equal opportunities.

Course content, topics 1. Human rights, non-discrimination, equity, equal opportunities Legal environment, vulnerable groups European Union strategy and policy Measuring discrimination Personal and social perceptions of discrimination Childhood chances, the rise of inequality during the school years 2. Labour market and equal opportunities Equal opportunities in employment, disability Vulnerable workers and their situation on the labour market Income inequalities at work Selection practices in the light of discrimination Job design and evaluation 3. The inclusive workplace Intersectionality, diversity and inclusion Strategic HR planning in the context of equal opportunities Incentives and performance appraisal Motivational factors Communication and human resource development
Számonkérés és értékelés
Method of evaluation: practice mark Aspects of evaluation: Active participation during lectures according to the University Regulations for Students. Completion of a task by the deadline, presentation of the results to the class in the form of individual work. Students can fulfil their exams with a presentation during the course period. If someone fails with the presentation, they have to attend the exam in the exam period. Active participation in the courses means that students should attend at least 80% of the courses, where they actively act in group works, taking part in discussions.
