- a) Knowledge - Have knowledge about the main methods and techniques of analytical separations. Knows how to evaluate the obtained data, as well as their limitations. Knows how to get the latest information on analytical separation techniques. b) Abilities - Can professionally evaluate and present analytical separation methods and techniques based on available scientific literature. c) Attitude - Welcomes scientific discussions. d) Autonomy and responsibility - Knows the significance of scientific statements and takes responsibility for their consequences.
- Course content
- Principles of separation science, ultracentrifugation, electroforetic separations, gas and liquid chromatography, coupling with mass spectrometry, sample preparation, validation.
- Assessment method
- Attendance of at least 50% of the lectures is mandatory. The grade is based on small presentation and or written assignments, K(5).
