Learning outcomes
Application of the knowledge acquired in the course ‘Nanoscience and nanotechnology’ for pursuing a practical project. Students are expected to reproduce literature procedures in their projects and develop individual laboratory skills required in nanoscience.
Course content
Using the literature students will develop possible solutions for a problem proposed by the supervisor. They will present a project plan to address the problem presented by the supervisor. They will execute a project approved by the supervisor to synthesize and characterize a specific nanomaterial suitable to tackle the problem in their assignment.
Assessment method
Processing the content of scientific publications, literary evaluation, project proposal presentation, the practical work carried out and the summary written will be assessed.
Bibliography
Sengupta, A and  Sarkar, C. K. „Introduction to Nano: Basics to Nanoscience and Nanotechnology” Sulabha K. Kulkarni, „Nanotechnology: Principles and Practices” Short syllabi for each measurement containing necessary knowledge and the recipie for the measurement.
