- Description
- Code for non-international students start with BBN
- Learning outcomes
- This seminar aims to support the lectures BBN-ANG-251 Syntax and BBI-ANG-253E Advanced Syntax through the means of practical exercises and group discussion. As syntax is a subject which is best learned by doing, students are encouraged to solve problems and represent syntactic structures during the classes and in regular homework.
- Course content
- The content of the seminar may vary from semester to semester depending on the teacher’s evaluation of what would most profitably serve the needs of the class in understanding the material presented in the lectures. Although the seminars do not necessarily follow either of the lectures, the material that it covers will be similar and be selected from the same list of topics.
- Assessment method
- Assessment, depending on the teacher’s decision, may be in the form of take home exercises, essays or class tests, or any combination of these.
