- Exploring the history and diversity of American popular culture.
- Tantárgy tartalma
- This course will explore topics and issues related to American popular culture, starting with trying to delineate what exactly popular culture as a concept means. Areas explored will range from film through music to television, from visual expressions like memes to the power and role of social media platforms, from popular culture as industry to communities of practice and fandom, and will also cover certain key areas from popular literature.
