- Számonkérés és értékelés
- Your final grade will be based upon three requirements: Item Points 1. Participation, Attendance, Preparedness 100 2. Presentation in class 100 3. Interview: ethical dilemma 100 Total Points 300 Marks: 5 270-300 4 241-269 3 211-240 2 181-210 1 180 or less Participation (all the groups): This requirement has two parts: attendance and contribution to class discussion. If you contribute to class discussion by speaking, listening taking part in the exercises and being prepared, you will receive full “contribution” credit. You are allowed to miss at most three classes. Participation is particularly important in a practical format that relies on individuals contributing to group discussion. In case on online classes the participation means “join the meeting with camera on”. Your attendance will be scored as below: Attendance: Being present at the classes: Contribution: expressing your opinion, taking part in the discussions, etc. 12=100%, Always, regularly: 100%, 11=90%, most of the times= 80%, 10=80%, sometimes=60%, 9-0=0% rarely=40%, never, but attentive=20%, never and bored=0% 2. Presentation in class (one by one / in pairs): Topics can be chosen from the course syllabus or an approved extra topic. The discussion should include a powerpoint presentation and preferably one exercise for the class. Length must be 20 minutes for the presentation and 10-20 minutes for discussion. It may include an ethical dilemma related to the topic. Presentation must be based on contemporary research, references and list of at least 6 logically referred references must be included and submitted. NOTE: reference must be in English and must be academic. 3. Collecting and analysing an ethical dilemma based on an interview of a psychologist (preferably from your country). The psychologist should be asked to report a dilemma from his/her practice, masking the features of the original case (confidentiality). The interview should be transcribed and analyzed (=appr. Half-1 page of analysis) by you. PLEASE FOLLOW THE STEPS OF MAKING THE INTERVIEW AS LISTED: Steps (important!!!): Contact a psychologist and inform him/her about the task. Inform him/her that the collected material SHOULD be used in a class discussion, and upon his/her agreement in a later collected teaching book. In a personal (face to face) situation record the report of the psychologist. Inform the psychologist that this recording will serve as a basis of later transcript (by you). No-one else will listen to it. Following the transcript, the recording will be deleted. Your questions: Please tell me a situation of your professional practice when you faced an ethical dilemma What did you do? How did you make the decision? Have you had any help or support to your decision? (e.g. consultation with colleague, reading the ethical code, etc.) Transcribe / translate verbatim the report. At the beginning of the file put the „number of working years” and „area of practice” of the psychologist (e.g. 1-5, private practice). The filename should be your: NEPTUN code,_family name_and date (ddmmyyyy) of the recording: eg: GUU3RG_Varga_15022024 Send the transcript to the psychologist, to get his/her agreement to hand it in. If s/he ask a modification: make it. Delete the recording Ask him/her to sign the Consent, and a scanned version should be inserted into the transcript (same word file contains the text and a photo / screenshot of the consent). The paper version of the consent remains with you. In case of doubt or question: contact me at: varga.katalin@ppk.elte.hu Dear Colleague!
