- Oktatás célja
- The main goal of the course is to demonstrate basic information of low intensity psychosocial interventions (LIPI): theoretical background and practice. The aim of the course is to help students learn about theoretical models of LIPI, such as the person-centered approach and the cognitive behavioral approach (CBT). In addition, students learn about the main techniques of LIPI: psychoeducation, communication skills (assertiveness), problemsolving, behavioral activation, catastrophizing, mindfulness, and complex programs of LIPI. Nevertheless, if you are late, please try to join the class with the least amount of disturbance. If a delay is foreseen, please inform the instructor. Communicate with the instructor only through official and pre-arranged channels (e.g. official email, Teams, Neptun). Please do not disturb the class by eating, unless this is necessary for health reasons. Please refrain from private mobile phone use and other private online activities during the class. Please communicate with your peers and the instructor with respect and in a manner consistent with the values of the university; no person should be offended because of their background, group belonging, ability or opinion.

- Learning requirements, mode of evaluation and criteria of evaluation: The active presence is essential (max 3 missed classes can be accepted) Students are required to read the material, then students give a talk to the class about the current section of the material, lasting up to 10 minutes; then we discuss it in class in an active way. By the end of the term, students are required to make a flyer about the material (for a CBT blog). Deadline is 15th of May. Mode of evaluation: practical mark Criteria of evaluation: active presence presentation essay
